2026 Gubernatorial Campaign Cycle
The MRC is looking for motivated Republicans that understand the importance of local participation in elections. Voting consistently is an important civic responsibility but also it is essential that you make an informed decision about who you are electing. You can become more aware of why it is important by attending our meetings and special events.
Every four years, during the Gubernatorial election cycle, the PA Republican party reorganizes, electing their executive officers and Precinct Committee Members. We are focused on getting ready for the Primary Election cycle now and when available, candidates are invited to attend our meetings to present their policies and answer questions. This cycle Monroeville voters will be electing a Governor, Lt. Governor, PA House Representative for District 25 and US Congressional House Representative for District 12 as well as our local Precinct Committee Members and Poll Workers.
The MRC also relies on Committee Advocates who volunteer when available, helping us with campaign preparation such as stuffing envelopes and door bags or special events. Other positions that are important and needed to manage the polling site and assist voters in the Primary and General Elections are Poll Workers that receive training to work indoors as Judge of Elections, Minority/Majority Inspector, Machine Inspector or Clerk.
