Member:

The MRC ensures the education of its Members in the duties, goals and techniques of Republican Committee Members.


The MRC Members are responsible for the Republican election campaigns within their respective precincts of Monroeville, in cooperation with and under the general authority of the RCAC.


Each Member is elected or appointed to the Republican Committee of Allegheny County (RCAC). An MRC Member is qualified by


  • Republican voter registration
  • Residence in an election district of Monroeville
  • Performance of Party Precinct Duties in Monroeville


Member Duties Include:


  1. Assisting the Republican Party finding and nominating well qualified candidates for public office;
  2. Helping to maximize votes for Member’s election district for Republican Candidates, by assisting voters to register, by assisting voters who need absentee ballots to acquire them, by supporting Republican candidates, and by urging Republican voters to vote;
  3. Serving the interests of Republican Party and members at the polling place; and
  4. Attending meetings of the County and Local Committees and submitting an absentee ballot or proxy when attendance is not possible
  5. Performing other activities for advance the interest of the Republican Party.

An MRC Advocate is qualified by

  • Republican voter registration
  • Residence of Monroeville
  • Expressed interest notifications of Party, MRC sponsored and other local events.
  • Interest in aiding the MRC Mission when such opportunity arises.


Advocates may choose receive aditional

notifications of events providing edutainment,

engagement, and skills development. Other

options include candidate outreach, fund raisers,

or PA GOP and RCAC sponsored events.

Advocates may be notified to MRC need of

volunteer support.


MRC strives to match Advocate interests, skills

and availability to various event-related tasks.

An Advocate may serve only subject to their

agreement to participate, and concurrence to

serve at the time of need.

An MRC Associate is defined by

  • Republican or Independent registered voter
  • Residence in Monroeville or nearby districts
  • Expressed interest notifications of MRC sponsored local events.
  • Associates may opt to receive requests for volunteer support.


Asociates may opt to receive a limited set of MRC notifications open to the public. Other options of notifications: include

  • Election calendar reminders
  • Local training schedule of Poll Workers & Poll Watchers
